Here’s what you need to know about the Canada Post labour disruption.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced it intends to begin a national strike as early as May 22, 2025. Mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered for the duration of the national strike, and some post offices will be closed. As a result, paper statements and physical cards will be delayed until the strike ends.
You are still required to make at least the minimum monthly payment on your account, even in the event of a postal strike.
