How do I know if my application was approved?
If your application is approved you will receive a welcome email in 2 to 3 business days.
If you haven’t received any communication from us after 7 business days please call customer care 1 855 775-2265:
- Select your language preference.
- Then press 3 for the status of your application
When will I receive my credit card?
Upon approval of your application your credit card will be delivered in 7 to 10 business days. Please call customer care if you haven't received your credit card within this time frame 1 855 775-2265.
Is there a minimum age requirement to apply?
You must be age of majority in your province of residence.
How do I know if I qualify for a Rogers Bank Mastercard?
To qualify for one of our Mastercard® you typically need to be employed or provide verification of income, not filed for bankruptcy in the last 7 years, not currently working with a trustee under a formal consumer proposal and have a good credit score.
To find out if you have a good credit score before you apply contact one of the national consumer credit reporting agencies, Equifax, TransUnion or Experian.
What should I know about switching between Rogers Bank Mastercard® products?
This is what you should know about switching between Rogers Bank Mastercard® products:
- If you are approved to switch, you will continue to use your existing credit card until your new credit card arrives. Once your new credit card arrives, you will activate it and then destroy your old card.
- No credit check is required when switching between Rogers Bank Mastercard products.
- All authorized users/supplementary cards, will be switched at the same time as the primary card.
- You will need to update any pre-authorized payments with your new credit card details.
- Your existing cash back rewards balance will be maintained when doing a product switch; however, you will not be able to redeem rewards between the time you request to switch until you activate your new card.
- You can only have one credit card account active with Rogers Bank at any time.
- There is no charge to switch.
To be eligible to switch to the Rogers World Elite® Mastercard® your personal income must be $80,000 + (or $150,000 + in household income); or if your annual spend on your current Rogers Bank Mastercard® is $25,000 or higher. To maintain eligibility on the Rogers World Elite® Mastercard® account you must have an annual minimum spend of at least $15,000, in total purchases, during each annual review period. The annual review period commences on August 1st of a year and ends on July 31st of the following year.
Call us at 1 855 775-2265 if you would like to switch products:
- Select your language preference.
- Press option ‘1’ in the main menu.
- Follow the prompts to enter your credit card number and PIN.
- Press ‘0’ after your account summary is provided.
