Here is some important information about switching credit cards:
If your product switch application is approved, you can continue to use your existing Rogers Bank credit card until your new credit card arrives. Once your new credit card arrives, you must activate it and then destroy your old card.
No credit check is involved when switching between Rogers Bank products.
All active authorized users/supplementary cards will be switched at the same time.
You will need to update any pre-authorized payments you have on your current card with your new credit card details.
If your current card was added to a mobile wallet, you will need to remove it and add the new card once you receive it.
Your existing cash back rewards balance will be maintained when doing a product switch. However, you will not be able to redeem rewards between the time you request to switch until you activate your new card.

Yes, you will receive a new card which will have a new credit card number. You will need to update any pre-authorized payments you have on your current card with your new credit card details. You will need to update any recurring payments currently set up on your existing credit card account, such as your wireless or Internet bill. Contact the merchants as soon as you receive your new credit card and provide them with your new credit card number.

To receive 5 Roam Like Home days on us, your account must be linked. If your Rogers account is not automatically linked within 5 business days of when your Rogers Mastercard or Rogers Red World Elite account is opened, you can manually link your account via the Rogers Bank app. Learn how to manually link your account.

Yes, you will be eligible for 2% cash back if you are actively subscribed to only one eligible service within your rental/condo fees.
An eligible service means a post-paid consumer plan for any Rogers, Shaw, or Fido-branded mobile, internet, TV, home phone, home monitoring, or satellite services of which you are the primary account holder or level 1 authorized user. Business plans and Home services with any other brands do not qualify.

Roam Like Home allows you to use your phone like you do at home when roaming in over 185 international destinations. You can also enjoy unlimited calling, texting and data across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico with Rogers 5G Infinite Premium plans.
For $12 per day in the U.S. and $15 per day in over 185 eligible international destinations, you get full access to the data, talk and text included in your monthly plan.
Call and text Canadian numbers just as you would at home on your monthly plan, as well as numbers in the eligible destination you’re visiting.
The daily fee covers each calendar day of usage until 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), regardless of which time zone you are roaming in.
Your 5 Roam Like Home™ days will reset every year on the account anniversary date (as long as the account is in good standing). Your anniversary date is the day your account was opened.
Note: if you switched from another Rogers Bank card to the Rogers Mastercard or Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard, then your Roam Like Home days will reset on the date that your original credit card account was opened.

You can confirm whether your account is linked by downloading the Rogers Bank app and tap the Rewards circle on the home page or Rewards in the navigation menu. If "Roam Like Home Benefits" is displayed, your card is linked. If this is not visible, link your card manually.

Eligible Rogers Accounts
An eligible Rogers mobile account is any Rogers post- paid consumer account where you are either the primary account holder or have permission to make changes (i.e. Level 1 Authorized User). Only one (1) Rogers account can be linked to one (1) Rogers Mastercard or Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard account.
Rogers accounts that have a 12-digit account number will not be linked until other eligible services are added to your Rogers account and the account number is updated. You can sign in to your MyRogers account to add an eligible mobile service or contact Rogers here.

Rogers customers: You will earn 2% cash back rewards on all eligible purchases and 2% cash back rewards on eligible purchases made in US dollars if you are a Rogers, Shaw or Fido customer with an eligible service and your accounts are in good standing. Eligible services include postpaid Rogers or Fido-branded consumer mobile plans (including wireless home phone and tablet data plans) or any Rogers, Shaw or Fido-branded internet, TV, home phone, home monitoring or satellite plan. Business/corporate plans are excluded. You must be the primary account holder for the eligible service. Non-Rogers customers: You will earn 1% cash back rewards on all eligible purchases and 2% cash back rewards on eligible purchases made in US dollars.
Cash back rewards are earned on eligible purchases or deducted for returns on a per-transaction basis based on the posting date of the transaction. Cash advances, balance transfers, cash-like transactions, interest, fees, insurance premiums and payments are not eligible purchases and do not qualify. Minimum redemption amount is $10 CAD. Cash back rewards can be redeemed online through the Rogers Bank app towards purchases or requested in the form of a statement credit annually. Account must be open and in good standing to earn and redeem cash back rewards. Foreign currency transactions are converted to Canadian dollars at the rate established by Mastercard International in effect on or after the date of the transaction and no later than the date the transaction is posted to the account plus an amount equal to 2.5% of the transaction amount after it has been converted to Canadian dollars.
Your cash back rewards can be redeemed for 1.5 times (or 150%) of their regular redemption value when you apply them against eligible Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (“Rogers”) purchases, including new phones, bill payments and accessories. Fido and Shaw purchases are included. Exclusions apply. Redemptions must be made in the Rogers Bank app, where eligible Rogers purchases are identified. Minimum redemption amount is $10 CAD.
Roam Like Home is provided by Rogers Communications Canada Inc.
