How do I know if I'm eligible for the Rogers World Elite Mastercard?
To be eligible for the Rogers World Elite® Mastercard® your personal income should be at least $80,000 (or $150,000 in household income); or if you currently spend $25,000 or higher on your Rogers Bank Mastercard®.
To maintain eligibility on the Rogers World Elite® Mastercard® account you must have an annual minimum spend of at least $15,000, in total purchases, during each annual review period. The annual review period commences on August 1st of a year and ends on July 31st of the following year.
What if I don’t meet the annual spend minimum for the Rogers World Elite Mastercard?
To maintain your account you must have an annual minimum spend of at least $15, 000 posted on your account during each annual review period. An annual review period commences on August 1st of a year and ends on July 31st of the following year. If you have not maintained the annual minimum spend during an annual review period, we reserve the right to switch the account to another Rogers Bank credit card product on or after November 1st in the next annual review period, without any impact to the rewards earned up to the date of the switch.
Accounts open for less than 18 months prior to the end of any annual review period will not need to meet the annual minimum spend requirement for that annual review period.
I would like to switch to the Rogers World Elite Mastercard?
To be eligible to switch to the Rogers World Elite® Mastercard® your personal income should be at least $80,000 (or $150,000 in household income); or if your annual spend on your current Rogers Bank Mastercard® is $25,000 or higher. To maintain eligibility on the Rogers World Elite® Mastercard® account you must have an annual minimum spend of at least $15,000, in total purchases, during each annual review period. The annual review period commences on August 1st of a year and ends on July 31st of the following year. See below for important information about switching credit cards:
- If you are approved to switch, you will continue to use your existing credit card until your new credit card arrives. Once your new credit card arrives, you will activate it and then destroy your old card.
- No credit check involved when switching between two Rogers Bank Mastercard® products.
- All active authorized users/supplementary cards, will be switched at the same time.
- Update any pre-authorized payments you have on your current card with your new credit card details.
- Your existing cash back rewards balance will be maintained when doing a product switch; however, you will not be able to redeem rewards between the time you request to switch until you activate your new card.
- You can only have one credit card account (either Rogers Platinum or World Elite® Mastercard®) active at any time.
- There is no charge to switch.

- Follow the prompts to enter your credit card number and PIN.
- Press ‘0’ after your account summary is provided.
Does the Rogers World Elite Mastercard have an annual fee?

When I switch to a Rogers World Elite Mastercard will my credit card number change?
Yes, you will receive a new card and a new number within the next 7 to 10 business days. Since you will have a new credit card number, update any pre-authorized payments you have on your current card with your new credit card details.
What will happen to my automated payments I set up on my existing credit card account if I switch to the Rogers World Elite Mastercard?
Any regular recurring payments currently set up on your existing credit card account, such as your wireless or Internet bill, will need to be changed. Contact the merchants as soon as you receive your new credit card and provide them with your new credit card number.
Can I have a Rogers Mastercard and a World Elite Mastercard at the same time?
You can switch from a Rogers Mastercard® to World Elite® Mastercard® or vice versa at any time, however, you can only have one credit card account (either Rogers or World Elite Mastercard) at any time.
- Applicable if Account is in good standing. Non-eligible purchases include: (i) Cash Advances; (ii) Cash-Like Transactions; (iii) Balance Transfers; (iv) interest; (v) Account payments; (vi) insurance and other premiums; (vii) Fees and (viii) purchases of goods or services made with merchants categorized as offering goods or services that are non-discountable or excluded by law, or purchases of goods or services prohibited by the laws of Canada or any other country where any Card is used or where the goods or services are provided. The list of exclusions to an Eligible Purchase is subject to change. Cash back rewards earned based on purchase price only (excluding any associated transaction fees). Transactions billed in Canadian currency. Foreign currency transactions are converted to Canadian dollars at the Mastercard International rate in effect on or after the date of the transaction and no later than the date the transaction is posted to your Account. The rate applied to debits (such as purchases) will be different than the rate applied to credits (such as returns) (rates established by Mastercard International and subject to change from time to time).
