InfoProtector 360 should be your first call if your credit cards or wallet are lost or stolen. If you were to report card loss or theft to your card issuers by yourself, you’d have to report them one at a time, leaving some cards vulnerable for a longer period of time. With InfoProtector 360, one call will take all of the weight off of your shoulders. InfoProtector 360 will contact each of your payment card issuers to cancel the compromised card and request a replacement on your behalf.

Furthermore, reporting the loss of theft of your credit cards or wallet to InfoProtector 360 will unlock additional protection features. From the moment you report your loss to us, you will be protected against fraudulent charges on all of your payment cards and receive 6 months of credit monitoring to help protect your identity.

No, but we recommend that you do. Having all of the information you keep in your wallet available in one place will make your life a lot easier if your wallet were ever to be lost or stolen. Not to mention that by registering your information, you gain access to additional protection features such as online monitoring.

When you lose your wallet, a lot of your sensitive personal information, such as your name, address, payment card information, date of birth and more, is unprotected, leaving you vulnerable to fraud. The credit monitoring service will help you detect identity fraud by alerting you when there are certain changes to your credit profiles that may indicate fraud, such as new accounts opened in your name, or changes to existing accounts, so that you can act quickly against any unauthorized changes or uses of your personal information.

When you call InfoProtector 360 to report your cards lost or stolen, you will be offered a six-month subscription to a credit monitoring service at no additional cost to you.

When you call InfoProtector 360 to report your cards lost or stolen, you will be asked if your wallet or purse was stolen. If so, our customer service representative will send you a reimbursement form to fill in and return with the appropriate proof of purchase of a new wallet or purse in order to process your reimbursement.  Contact InfoProtector 360 at 1 866 514-6655 for help.

If you have reported your cards lost or stolen to InfoProtector 360, our customer service representative will ask if you require emergency cash. If you are stranded more than 250 km away from home, we will arrange for an emergency cash advance of up to $1,000 to be wired to a location near you. The amount provided under this service will be billed to a credit card you specify 30 days after your initial request. Contact InfoProtector 360 at 1 866 514-6655 for help.

    Information Protection

Our database is fully encrypted with the highest level of industry standard security. Our environment is PCI compliant, meaning that we do not store your full credit card numbers, but convert them into a token and store only this token in our database. All personnel who have access to our database, environment and physical offices are required to authenticate themselves through multiple levels of security, and may only access data that is required to complete their job function.

You will still be able to access the ‘Device’, ‘Travel’ and ‘Lost Wallet Protection’ features, even if you decide not to add any personal information into the InfoProtector 360 app.

To provide you with 360° of protection, we would encourage you to add your personal information into the InfoProtector 360 app as well. It just takes a few minutes and doing so will not only store your information in one convenient place, but will also unlock additional features, such as online monitoring of your registered personal information and reminders when your registered documents are approaching expiry. Your information is stored on our secure servers and transmitted to your app via secure channels, so there is no need to worry about your information getting into the wrong hands.

Online monitoring searches the Internet’s public domain for your registered personal information twenty-four hours a day to help you detect fraudulent or malicious use. If a match of your registered information is found, you will receive an alert in your InfoProtector 360 app so you can act quickly if you suspect fraud. Please check your app ‘Settings’ under ‘Manage Account’ then select ‘Online Monitoring’ to control which registered personal information is active for ‘Online Monitoring’.

Simply log in to your InfoProtector 360 app and register your personal information in the ‘Information Protection’ section. For your convenience, all information you add here is automatically monitored online. You can adjust which information is monitored online from your app ‘Settings’ under ‘Manage Account’ then select ‘Online Monitoring’.

Your ‘Online Monitoring’ alert will contain a link to the host website where your registered information has appeared. You will need to review how your information is being used on the host website and determine whether it is harmless, or whether it may indicate fraud. It is your responsibility to contact the web host/master of the website if you have concerns or questions relating to the use of your registered information.

    Device Protection

If your device is lost, Rebound Mobile Security* can help you find it by:

    • Triggering a device scream that overrides your device’s volume settings to ensure you will hear it if it is nearby.
    • Triggering a photo capture from the front-facing camera to help you recognize the location of your device.
    • Displaying your device’s last known location, as well as a history of its most recent locations, to help you re-trace your steps.
    • Displaying a message on the lock screen with a $50 reward incentive for a finder to report your device found to Rebound Mobile Security. Once reported found, we will arrange for the device’s pick-up and safe return at no cost to you, as well as pay the reward to the finder.

If your device is stolen, Rebound Mobile Security* can help you protect the important information it contains by:

    • Triggering a remote lock of your device to ensure the thief cannot access your sensitive data.
    • Triggering a device scream to help deter the thief.
    • Triggering a photo capture from the front-facing camera to provide a photo of the thief that can be shared with the police.
    • Tracking the last known locations of your device.
    • Triggering a remote wipe of your sensitive data from your device if it cannot be retrieved.

    * Supported features vary by device type and platform. Device needs to be "on" and connected to a mobile network in order to receive remote commands or provide GPS location information.  GPS functionality is dependent on satellite connectivity.

Simply log in to your InfoProtector 360 app and access the ‘Rebound Mobile Security’ page. You will need to activate your ‘Rebound Mobile Security’ account, which will trigger a text message to your smartphone containing instructions and your ‘Authorization Code’ to download the app.

You can download the Rebound Mobile Security app on up to 3 compatible devices within one account. Simply activate your Rebound Mobile Security account on the InfoProtector 360 app, and use the same Authorization Code to download the app on up to 3 compatible devices.

The Rebound Mobile Security app is supported on the following operating systems:

    • Android 2.2 and above
    • Apple iOS 5.0 and above (iPhone)

If you lost your device, send the lock command immediately from your computer or another device to ensure your sensitive data is protected.

To help find your device, you may access the Rebound Mobile Security vault, or text your lock PIN code (on supported operating systems), to view or receive a link back to your device’s location on ‘Google’ maps. There is also a simple and convenient process for a finder to return your device to you.

If you cannot retrieve your device, or believe it has been stolen, access the Rebound Mobile Security vault to trigger protection features designed to deter the thief. As a last resort, you can also opt to remotely wipe your device to ensure your sensitive data does not fall into the wrong hands.

Note: Supported features vary by device type and platform. Device needs to be "on" and connected to a mobile network in order to receive remote commands or provide GPS location information.  GPS functionality is dependent on satellite connectivity.

If your device is off, the Rebound Mobile Security app can show you its last known location before it was turned off. As soon as it is turned back on, all of the Rebound Mobile Security app’s features will turn back on with it.

Go to your ‘Rebound Mobile Security’ vault. From here you will be able to manage your Rebound Mobile Security app for each device on which it is installed, including allowing you to change the profile information associated with your account. Alternatively, you may contact InfoProtector 360 at 1 866 514-6655 to have a customer service representative update your account on your behalf.

To turn off your Rebound Mobile Security feature, simply deactivate it in the InfoProtector 360 app ‘Settings’ under ‘Manage Account’ then ‘Rebound Mobile Security’. Deactivating your Rebound Mobile Security feature does not cancel your InfoProtector 360 subscription, so you will still have access to all the other convenient benefits available in your subscription.

Online data backup provides both a mobile and desktop application to help you automatically back-up your important files. You will need to activate your ‘Online Data Backup’ account on the InfoProtector 360 app. Then simply download the software on your devices, select which files you’d like to automatically back-up, and continue using your device as you normally would.

The application is designed to regularly monitor your selected files, backing them up whenever they change with no impact to the performance of your device. You will be able to access your backed-up files from any device, or share files with family and friends.

Online data backup is a separate application from InfoProtector 360, and requires a separate username and password to access. You can use the same username if available; however, we suggest you set up a different password for extra security. Please be sure that you are the only person allowed to access your username and password.

You can view the amount of storage used by logging into the ‘Online Data Backup’ application on your device and clicking on ‘My Data’. For your convenience, you will receive e-mail notifications once you’ve reached 80%, 90% and 100% of your included storage.

Here are some helpful tips to minimize your storage capacity:

    • Reduce the image size and resolution of the image if you are storing pictures
    • Select only key documents or folders
    • Zip large documents

The data backed up through your computer is kept in a data center on servers with the highest military grade 448–bit encryption. You are the only person authorized to access your data, using the username and password you created.

Online data backup laptop/desktop software is supported on Windows Server 2008 and above and Windows 7 and above.

Online data backup is branded as ‘Data Deposit Box’ on mobile/tablet apps, and the software is supported on iOS 8.0 and above and Android 4.3 and above.

To turn off your online data backup feature simply deactivate it in the InfoProtector 360 app ‘Settings’ under ‘Manage Account’ then select ‘Online Data Backup’. Deactivating your online data backup feature does not cancel your InfoProtector 360 subscription, so you will still have access to all the other convenient benefits available in your subscription.

To remove files from the online data backup server:

    1. Log on to the ‘Online Data Backup’ application using your user ID and password
    2. Click on the ‘My Data’ icon
    3. Select all of your file folders using the checkbox
